Vitamin C
Vitamin C can be found in citrus fruits such as oranges,
limes & lemons. Vitamin C is a natural brightening agent. It lightens,
brightens, & tightens the skin. Leaving your skin with a more even balanced
tone and over all glow.
Lactic Acid
Lactic acid can be found in milk & milk powders. The most
effective milks would be butter milk & goats milk, which can be found in
your local grocery store. Milk powders can be found online or in some
natural/organic stores. Lactic acid gently exfoliates dead skin cells which
allows for new skin cells to generate. Leaving your skin more even &
refreshed.
Enzymes
Enzymes can be found in fruits such as papaya, pineapple, &
pumpkin. Enzymes are also found in plain yogurt. These enzymes gently exfoliate
dead skin cells allowing for new cells to surface. When used in combination with
steam it allows for deeper penetration. Leaving your skin more even &
refreshed .
A Few Recipes to try : Mix 1 tsp of milk powder, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and ½ tsp of almond oil. Apply on face and rinse the remaining residue after 10-15 minutes. This will lighten tanned skin and will make skin glow.
